We work in partnership with the National Trust to run the Deepening Connections Programme at Footprint, Windermere. Courses run both in the inspiring strawbale learning space and in its beautiful woodland camp with canopies in case of rain.

Deeptime Day

Walk through the history of the earth and marvel at the wonder of being alive. Use this as a stepping stone to explore what matters most to you whilst you are here on this wonderful planet. An opportunity to zoom all the way out and then all the way back in and leave with a sense of clarity and vigour about what you want to do with your time and energy.

Make your own Shave Horse

In an evening! The shave horse is a wonderfully versatile piece of equipment for working in greenwood. It is used to grip the length of wood you are working on and hold it steady to enable you to shape the wood using a draw knife or a spokeshave.
